Denis Khvatov (piano)
Born in Moscow, Russia, Denis acquired his musical knowledge and skills through study at the prestigious Gnesins family of music schools.
These studies culminated in his graduating in 1993 with a Masters Degree in Music from the State Musical and Pedagogical Institute named after Gnessins, one of the most prestigious music school in Russia.
He was graduated as both a qualified music teacher and as a performer, thanks to the guidance and inspiration of Professors Slava Gabrielov and Andrey Khitruk.
He gained his advanced knowledge of music theory from teachers Elena Kadashevich and Larisa Gerver.
Complementing his academic qualifications is his 20 years experience working as a piano teacher and accompanist.
At the Moscow Secondary Specialized Music School (College) Named after Gnesins,
he reinvested his knowledge by working as an instructor in the application of information technology to the study and production of music.
Denis is the author of several music collections for both beginner and advanced musicians that were published in Russia and Canada.
Tatiana Khvatova (piano)
Born in Stupino, near Moscow, Tatiana studied at the Gnesins Musical and Pedagogical College, and received her Masters Degree in piano pedagogy and performance from
the State Musical and Pedagogical Institute named after Gnessins, located in Moscow. She has extensive experience in piano teaching,
both in music institution and private settings.
For many years Tatiana has worked in one of the most prestigious music schools in Moscow as a piano teacher,
accompanist and violin teaching assistant. She is competent in the critical aspects of violin playing, such as the setting of the hands and fingers, as well as proper sound production, bowing and fingering.
This knowledge and experience makes her especially qualified as an accompanist, in addition to her being a highly skilled and experienced piano teacher.
Wictor Lebeda (cello&double-bass)
Cello &Bass player and teacher, Wiktor Lebeda comes from a family of double bass players. He has built on this tradition, enjoying an international professional career.
He began his professional musical education at Przemysl College of Music in Poland, winning the Polish National Music Competition in his graduating year. After obtaining full National scholarship for foreign music studies he went to "Gnessin" Academy of Music in Moscow, where he obtained Master degree in double bass performance.
He returned to "Gnessin" Academy of Music few years later winning another scholarship for the whole year of post graduate studies in solo performance.
In Wiktor’s professional career he performed as a proncipal Bass player as well as a soloist with orchestras such as Moscow Symphony Orchestra "Sovremennik", Moscow "Bach Centre" Orchestra, Wroclaw SO, Tunis SO, Detmold Landestheatre ,Bogota SO, Barranquilla SO and others.
Wiktor was an onstage performer and composer for Irena Tatibois Contemporary Ballet Company, with which he performed all across of Tunisia and Paris. He also was a solo performer with Tunis SO at International Music Festival of El Jem (Tunisia) for four consecutive years.
He was professor at institutions such as Lipinski Academy of Music (Wroclaw), National Institute of Music in Tunis, Conservatorio de Tolima, Universidad Central de Bogota, where he initiated the first bass performance program. As a professor of Colombian National Music Program "Batuta", Wiktor was teaching students all across the country. Many of them are professional musicians now, including a Principal Bass player at Bogota National Symphony Orchestra.
In 1999 Wiktor Lebeda moved to Canada. He is currently very active chamber music performer and plays with orchestras such as Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, where he is a principal Bass player, Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra, Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and others.
